Who is Keshon Tabb? He’s an undiscovered genius, but to whom it may concern, he’s a God-fearing man with a hard-working mentality, a voice for publication, and an activist for change. A true one-of-one individual, seeking to impact the world with his athletic abilities, intellectual mind, and way of creativity. He’s an entrepreneur from the “State of Lovers” Richmond, Virginia, and seeks to expand his love for art, basketball, and music worldwide. "With great power comes great responsibility", a task he intends to take head-on.
The Designer
With a very original approach, he has chosen to be nothing other than himself; this is what the name “KOAT” stands for; he delves deeper to provide numerous variations of himself, which is what “OAtheKollection” is. A collection of hand-sketched designs that date back to his childhood are brought to life on material fabrics. His eyes are his most recognizable feature, serving not just as windows to his soul but are also tools we use for reacting, paying attention, and staying vigilant in society.
The BasketBall Player
At age two, Keshon's father placed a basketball in his hands that he slept with and grew attached to. Every lesson learned was surrounded by what he did with that ball and he hasn't looked back since. From being cut four years in a row in middle and high school to attending college and achieving GCAC player of the year, 1st team all-defense, 1st team all-conference, 4th in the nation in steals, and being placed in the NBPA/HBCU top 50 has spoken value to his desire of never quitting but to thrive after facing numerous failures. Recently, going pro he has given back to his community by spreading his story so the next kid who doesn’t see their success early on has the motivation to keep going. With a humble spirit he doesn’t plan on slowing up and draws others to do so as well.
The Artist
As the acronym “KOAT” is a representation of his name but also in terms means the “King of All Traits” Keshon Tabb is a true storyteller in music. Throughout his music, you will understand his pain, happiness, love, passion, aggression, joy, faith, and will to have fun in his everyday life. A truly, diverse individual who isn’t ashamed of his trials and tribulations but is also a teacher to those willing to learn from his mistakes and success. Eager to learn more about the desires that life brings, “KOAT” is known to paint the picture so well that you’ll feel like you are right beside him through every situation. With the ability to display character with his uptempo music, he is also capable of slowing it down and speaking to your soul. Through creativity, he adds his art to his music to leave no leaf unturned when expressing himself to the world. Real is rare, but someone rare to find is another 1 of 1 like “KOAT” himself, but if you ask him, he’ll give all the glory to the man above for such a gift.
