In October of 2023, Keshon's lifelong dream to turn professional came to fruition. Relocating a distance of 6,128 miles from his Richmond, Virginia hometown to Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, to join team Irtysh marked a significant milestone for him. Despite facing challenges like culture shock, language barriers, homesickness, and separation from his loved ones – adversities that might have overwhelmed many individuals – Keshon remained steadfast in his pursuit of success. He had been eagerly awaiting this moment, unwavering in his determination. Embraced warmly by his new teammates, he garnered loyal fans, immersed himself in the vibrant culture of Kazakhstan, dominated on the court, and ultimately had the opportunity to pursue his passion daily.
